A sailing-trip on the "STYRR" is different from the usual charter trips
- We normally sail with 6 (max.8 on request) guests instead of 12 to 16, which is usual for a boat of this size.
- We sail to places which you could never reach with a normal charter boat.
- Your skipper will not be somebody who is paid by a company!
I have been sailing for 14 years on the oceans of the world.
- The Styrr is technically equipped in a way superior to normal charter boats.
For your time on board, you will experience a completely different life, forgetting the stress and pressure of daily life.
Sailing does not only mean to pull the right rope at the right moment! But is also a wondrous interaction with time and nature.
This is what I would like you to experience in addition to gaining technical knowledge.
Please note:
- Sailing experience is not required on any of our trips.
If you would like to know something about sailing, I will be happy to teach you.
- Physical state of health: The youngest participant was 3 month old, the oldest 75! I think that answers the question!
- If you choose a trip, please pay attention to both the region and the amount of miles.
On a 2 week trip with 200 miles or less, we normally arrive at our destination in the early afternoon, so that you have enough time to take a swim and snorkel or just to relax in the sun. It is also possible to remain the whole day in a particulary beautiful place, going on land excursions, visiting a city, renting a horse or a motorbike, etc....
When we are doing a "crossing", we will be sailing for a few days, when sailing across the Atlantic or the Pacific Ocean even a few weeks, without seeing any land!
An unforgettable experience! And one of the last adventures! But we can not stop and you can not get off the boat!
We will be on our own, without any support or help from outside! We will be totally dependent on our boat and on ourselves!
A real adventure! You should be aware of this before booking such a trip.
- As on all sailingboats of this size, we have double cabins.
On the 'Styrr' they are very spacious, but if you find yourself wanting to be alone, just let me know and you can have a double cabin for your own.

Book the whole boat. Plan your own special summer holiday, alone, with your family or friends. Especially if you are travelling with children, it is the best solution!
